The Society is completely independent and non-political and aims to work in partnership with national and local authorities. It runs a series of lectures and meetings throughout the year and also runs the Heritage centre in Station Road. Its income is mainly derived from subscriptions from residents and former residents. You can help support the Civic Society’s work. The more members we have, the stronger our voice and we will have a greater chance of influencing decisions that effect developments in Desborough. We can be an effective voice looking after your interests. Monthly Lectures for Desborough Civic SocietyDesborough Civic Society provides monthly lectures in the Concorde Lounge at Desborough Conservative Club, Victoria Street and occasional outings and tours.
